Welcome to enjoy a culture-filled morning at the museum! During our Free Morning, we offer free admission to our exhibition, Sunshine and Joy of Life.(opens in new tab) The exhibition explores the colour art of the 1910s.
Free Mornings are intended especially for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to visit the museum. Culture and art belong to all of us!
Please note that during the Free Morning, the museum cannot accommodate large groups or guided tour bookings. Our aim is to provide a calm and accessible museum experience for all visitors. Please enter the museum via the ticket desk.

Gallen-Kallela Museum
Situated in the Tarvaspää studio castle, which was designed and built by the artist Akseli Gallen‑Kallela (1865–1931), the museum presents changing exhibitions that explore the art and life of Gallen‑Kallela and his contemporaries, as well as contemporary art. The museum offers a rich programme of events and activities and serves as a central source of information on Akseli Gallen‑Kallela.
