Explore Our Exhibition with a Guide

The duration of the public tour, open to all museum visitors, is about 30 minutes. You can join the tour with a museum entrance ticket,  Finnish Museum Card, or a Kaikukortti. The tour takes place on the museum’s ground floor, which is accessible to almost all visitors.

What can you expect from the tour?

The guide will share stories about Akseli Gallen-Kallela’s life, art, and our current exhibition, while also considering participants’ wishes and questions. The tour starts in the studio and highlights interesting works and stories along the way.

Public events at the Gallen-Kallela Museum follow art, building, and visitor safety guidelines. The guide will provide instructions at the beginning of the tour. A maximum of 25 participants can join the guided tour, and places cannot be reserved in advance.
