Welcome to enjoy a culture-filled evening at the museum! On selected summer Wednesdays, we offer free admission to our exhibition Sunshine and Joy of Life – Colourist Art in the 1910s. A discussion guide will also be present.
Please note that during the free evening the museum does not accept large groups or guided tour bookings. Our aim is to provide a calm and accessible museum experience for all visitors. Please enter the museum via the ticket desk. A warm welcome!

Gallen-Kallela Museum
Situated in the Tarvaspää studio castle, which was designed and built by the artist Akseli Gallen‑Kallela (1865–1931), the museum presents changing exhibitions that explore the art and life of Gallen‑Kallela and his contemporaries, as well as contemporary art. The museum offers a rich programme of events and activities and serves as a central source of information on Akseli Gallen‑Kallela.
