The First Free Morning of the Year!
Welcome to spend a culture-filled morning at the museum! During our free morning, we offer free admission to our exhibition Primeval Forest – In the Footsteps of Pentti Linkola.
The free morning is especially intended for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to visit the museum. Culture and art belong to all of us!
Please note that during the free morning, the museum does not accept large groups or guided tour bookings. Our goal is to provide a calm and accessible museum experience for all visitors.

Gallen-Kallela Museum
Designed and built by artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela (1865-1931), the Tarvaspää Studio Castle presents temporary exhibitions of the art and life of Gallen-Kallela and his contemporaries, as well as contemporary art. The museum offers a wide range of activities and events and serves as a centre of information on Akseli Gallen-Kallela.
